H16 World Championship to Offer Incredible Sailing
The 21st Hobie® 16 World Championship (May 29-June 13, 2016) is shaping up to be an incredible sailing experience.
Competitors are traveling to Dapeng, China from New Caledonia, USA, Australia, Indonesia, France, China, Philippines, Italy, Canada, Hong Kong, Denmark, Brazil and the Netherlands. All of them are champing at the bit to hit the water for this truly memorable event.
The world championships will be fought on sailing courses surrounded by granite covered hills and the impressive Mount Qiniang, which climbs above the regatta venue and its white, sandy beaches. The beauty of the magnificent bay further highlights the exceptional sailing conditions the waters surrounding the Dapeng peninsula have to offer the world’s best Hobie 16 sailors.
